Joseph R. Davis
My Practice:
My practice focuses on litigation including contract and business litigation, divorce and family law matters, real estate litigation, and employment litigation. I also assist clients with the purchase and sale of businesses, the purchase, sale, and leasing of real estate, and the formation of business entities.
My Background and Education:
I completed my undergraduate degree in history at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. I received my law degree from the University of Oregon School of Law and have practiced law since 1998.
I began my practice and developed significant jury trial experience as a Deputy District Attorney in Portland, Oregon. Immediately prior to joining Huycke, O'Connor, Jarvis, Dreyer, Davis & Glatte, LLP in Medford Oregon, I served as senior in-house counsel for a publicly traded company where my legal practice focused on mergers and acquisitions, employment law, and managing the company’s litigation matters.
My Interests:
My wife and I stay busy with our two young children. I am active in the community in a variety of ways including serving on the Board of Education for Rogue Community College and on the Southern Oregon University Youth Advisory Board.
